Italian Style Meatloaf

Serving Size: 6
Ingredients:
2 lbs. ground chuck
1 oz. Italian croutons
1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
2 teaspoons dried oregano
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 egg
1 medium onion, chopped
kosher salt and black pepper, to taste
1/2 green bell pepper, diced
1/2 cup ketchup
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. In a medium mixing bowl combine all ingredients except for the ketchup. Place mixture into a loaf pan or in a baking dish arranging mixture into a rectangle shaped loaf. Rub ketchup over the top of the loaf.
3. Place in oven and bake for approximately 1 hour or until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees.
4. Use any leftover basil as a garnish.
